Frequently asked questions ...

Where will you be walking my dog?

Our dog walks take place locally, and normally on lead unless you specify otherwise. In bad whether we sometimes walk on a lead around the local area if parks are too dirty, although this does not happen often.

On most days, you can find us on the Parkland Walk, in Priory Park or Queens Wood.

How long will my dog be out of the house?

On group walks, your dog will spend at least one hour in the park, and the time it takes for us to pick up a few of their friends and head to the park and back. Usually, your dog will be back in 2 hours. Though keep in mind that we’ve been known to lose track of time if we’re having a lot of fun in the park and stay a little extra.

How many dogs do you walk in each group?

We walk a maximum of four dogs per group.  The small numbers keep our dogs safe and allow us to watch them carefully on each walk.

What size of dog can you care for?

We can care for small to medium sized dogs.

What is doggy day care?

We will look after your dog during the day. Our hours typically reflect the average working day. You dog will be cared for in our own home just like our own dog with walks in the morning and afternoon. You can drop your dog with us or we can pick them up locally.

What is dog boarding?

We will look after your dog overnight in our own home. Overnight stays start from around 5pm and finish at 9am although other hours are possible.  Dogs will need to bring their own food and bedding. We also have plenty of spare toys and cushions available.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes we have reduced rates for regular bookings and for additional dogs.

Can we meet up before you care for my dog?

Yes, we recommend you do! This will help use get to know you and your dog so we can ensure they have lots of fun when they are with us.

What about muddy paws, will you wash my dog?

We try to avoid mud if possible. However all of the dogs can have a warm rinse and towel dry if they are muddy when we get home.
